Slowly but surely things are coming along. Here are some new updates in the latest version of the GFC website:

* GYROS Updates are here! See all of the existing Direct Request orders on a single page. You can see in real-time where your order stands and also get a little bit voyeuristic to see what kinds of things other people are ordering ^_^

* Direct Request Services have been enhanced now. The pages have been streamlined and cleaned up, but most importantly you can now login at the top and the DR page will automatically pull up your personal info. In addition, you can now order Multiple Items on a single page!

* Database driven Catalog - Items will be updated in real time and you can see at any given moment ALL of the games in stock and available. As items sell on our store, our tradelists or our eBay store the quantities will change in real time. No more wondering what I have or how many of them are left!

* Google Ads have been removed completely for now. We will instead boost our Direct Request service, promote our own items and hopefully put in some affiliate links from time to time

* Also, I have removed the 3-column look of the original Beta. Now there is simply a top nav bar, a side bar and a main content area. This makes the site a hundred times more organized and clean feeling, and should load better in 99% of browsers.

* Direct Request 2.0 System - Very soon (as soon as 01/11/2010) you will be able to estimate in real-time multiple items, service charges and shipping costs all from our new DR 2.0 page. In addition, you will be given several payment options that will allow you to pre-pay for your DR order immediately. This will generate an invoice for you and will speed up the ordering process considerably for customers and GFC alike!

* Rewards System - Customers of GamesForCanada.com will receive points based on various things (order promotions, contests, and more) and will be able to use these towards future discounts, free items and more. This will be launching in early 2010!
