GamesForCanada (GFC) Lowball Auctions - Rules:
** Registration Rules **
1) Anyone in the world can register to both bid on items and list items on GFC Lowball Auctions.
Most users are from the USA or Canada, but there is no rule to keep members from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, etc from registering.
2) In order to bid, you must be a member of CAG at this time, or get approval from Goomba478 before you may register.
This is
to keep spammers and scammers away from our system and keep bidding reputable. If you bid on an item and do not pay,
you will receive negative feedback on CAG's iTrader system. In the future we may implement our own feedback system, but for the moment
we will piggyback off CAG as it's the world's best video game forums (it's a fact, Jack).
** Payment Rules **
1) You must make payment within 7 days for all Lowball auctions. If for some reason you are unable to make your payment, or if you need a few days
additional time, you can contact Goomba478 and let him know. Otherwise, you will receive negative feedback on CAG's iTrader system and will not
be allowed to bid in future Lowball auctions with our site.
2) All payments MUST be in US Dollars (USD). If you have a Canadian Paypal account or otherwise, your funds will need to be sent as USD.
** Bidding Rules **
1) Most Lowball items will start at $0.00. This means you can bid whatever you like initially.
2) All future bids following the original must be at least $0.50 or higher. This means you cannot outbid someone by bidding $0.01 higher =P
3)
Each Lowball item has a very specific auction ending time. This is hardcoded into our database and once the bidding time has passed, no further bids will be allowed.
While this is true, almost all Lowball items also have a "Rolling Auction Ending Period" which means that for each successful bid to an item, the ending time
will be extended by a static amount of time (generally 5 minutes). Meaning if the auction originally will end at 11:00 PM EST, and it receives a bid, the new ending time will
be 11:05 PM EST. This will be reflected on the main bidding page, as well as all subsequent pages. This is to ensure everyone has a chance to bid for an item, and to
minimize the number of "auction snipers" who wait until the very last second to bid.
